Viewing pay deductions
Retirees can view a history of their pay deductions in Retiree Self-Service (RSS) such as contributions to a deferred compensation plan, transit benefit deductions, or payments for child support during a period of time selected. Information is accessible in RSS for the last three calendar years, including the current year.
To view pay deductions
- From the RSS navigation menu, do the following:
- Click the Retiree Self-Service link.
- Click the Payroll and Compensation link.
- Click the Deduction Inquiry link.
- From the Select Deduction Code drop-down menu, choose the appropriate deduction type.
- In the Select Date Range section, in the From field, enter the date you want your deduction history to begin. Dates must be entered in the mm/dd/yyyy format.
- In the To field, enter the date you want your deduction history to end. Dates must be entered in the mm/dd/yyyy format.
Note: The From and To fields must be in the same year.
- In the Show section, click the radio button next to the selection you would like to view and/or print: All Details or Total Only.
- Clicking All Details will display a bi-weekly breakdown of the following information:
- Pay date
- Amount this period (amount deducted)
- Total (total amount deducted)
- Clicking Total Only will display the total amount deducted for the date range selected.
- Click the Search button.
- To print a copy of your deduction history, click the Printer friendly page icon, then click Print Page.
